The Electoral Commissioner chairperson Jean Mansa has finally declared Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) the winner of the December 7 election this evening with 6,328,397 representing 56.55% while Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party had 4,657,304 representing 41.61% of the total votes cast. The turnout for the 2024 election was 60.9%.

Bawumia Concedes Defeat After December 7 2024 Election
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia of Ghana’s New Patriotic Party has congratulated his rival on winning the presidency. “The people have voted for change,” he said, conceding his defeat to opponent John Mahama.
